Visit Madrid Spain


Madrid is the capital of Spain. 
It was founded in the ninth century by the Emir Muhammad I as the Majrît (مجريط). 
Now the largest and most populated city of the country, it is also the capital of the Autonomous Community of Madrid. It houses the headquarters of the World Tourism Organization. 
The city has a population of 3,207,247 inhabitants (Madrileños), within an urban area of 6,495,551 inhabitants in 2013. 
The Prado Museum, the Reina Sofía Museum and the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum are among the most visited museums in the world.
